Lava Run!
In Lava Run, you help your dinosaur escape a volcanic eruption. You’re in a race against enemy dinosaurs for survival: win by either reaching the beach at the base of the volcano first or be the last dinosaur standing!
- How to Play -
The board is a 6×10 grid plane each grid representing a space.
Each player places their dino on one of the Dino Start grid spaces (one of the blue squares above). You can choose any of the 6 places.
Dinosaurs can stand on any space on the grid, but you can only ever have 1 dino per space throughout the game.
Each player starts with 4 cards. On their turn, each player must play 2 cards in their hand, then move 1 space, and finally refill their hand with 2 more cards totaling 4 cards again. The first player to reach the beach (finish line) or the last person to survive wins!
Playing Cards
There are 12 different types of cards. Most of them are directions in which the lava can flow. You must connect your lava flow to an appropriate grid space if placing a lava card on the board. You cannot play lava cards over grid spaces that are already occupied by a lava card or a dinosaur.
