How to Crochet: A Mustache

How punny do you think I am?

That’s a double pun right there. Okay, so mustaches are pretty popular now, and all I can grow is a dirty little fuzz-stache. So I made a pattern for me and everyone else who lack the necessary hormones to grow a great mustache! Here’s a few photos of some different colors and my cousin posing with the finished product.

Easy as that! Put a little tape or facial glue on the other side and wammo, instant upper lip fashion. You can buy these guys here.

Christmas in July

Now, I know its not July, but I was in the Christmas spirit and I’ve been meaning to make a good Santa hat pattern for my booth in October.

Oh yah, if you happen to be in the Thousand Oaks area on October 16th I’m having a booth at the 20th Annual Thousand Oaks Street Fair on Moorpark road! For more information and directions click here.

Anyhow, back to business. I made them in red and green, and I think I’m gonna put elf ears on them soon too! So anyhow, here’s some photos of my cousin Sara wearing the Santa hats.

I don’t have the pattern written down just yet, you’re just gonna have to wait for Christmas I guess!

Parlez-vous français?

Well In a few hours I’ll be on a plane to France! I’m going for 28 days and I’ll be studying french in Montpilier in the south of France. But fear not, even though I’m being shipped away, and I’ve just started the blog, I’ll still be posting to the site! Wooo!! I’m so excited! My first pattern for the site should be up soon!

First Post!

Wooo!! I’ve been wanting to make a crocheting blog for the longest time! Well let me start off by saying Hi! My name is Louis, and I crochet, hopefully for a living one day. I love to crochet and have been for a while now, about 2 years. I mostly crochet hats and scarves and such, but every now and then I try to do something new and neat, and hopefully I can share those with you. I also sell hats too so feel free to check them out, some of which I hope to come out with patterns for too. Okay, well enough rambling..
